It's complicated.

What you can do to avoid the problems diabetes can cause!
Having type 2 diabetes means managing it daily and making significant lifestyle changes. Physical activity and nutrition are the cornerstones of diabetes management for people  with type 2.
Exercise lowers blood sugar and helps the body use whatever insulin you are still producing. It helps reduce your overall risk of cardiovascular disease. About 30 minutes of moderate activity five days a week are recommended.
Time your meals. One of the most important dietary practices is eating at consistent intervals so that you avoid going long periods without eating. Try to eat more vegetables, more fresh fruit instead of juices, less fat and more whole grains.

Can adding turmeric to your spice rack help you reach better health? It’s a definite maybe. This root contains curcumin, an antioxidant and has been used for centuries to reduce redness and heal wounds. Doctors found  that turmeric reduced the inflammation associated with obesity and insulin resistance and cut a chance of developing diabetes.
